Founding a new company in Lithuania

We are a Latvian citizen willing to found a company in Lithuania. Could anybody tell me what are requirements for becoming a director in a Lithuanian company? Does director need to be a citizen of Lithuania or need special qualification? We heard that a person has to undergo a special course and receive a certificate for that.

Dear neighbour from Latvia, There are not any qualification or citizenship requirements to become a director. I am sure you are able to do this.
