Law No X-1298 of 18 October 2007 Expanding Article 86 and Amending Articles 89, 119 of the Law on Public Procurement of the Republic of Lithuania (Official Gazette (Valstybės Žinios), No 114 4630).
The Law establishes that in ordinary commercial practice simplified procurement can also be performed when buying services of the authors of literature, art, performers or a group thereof (choir, ensemble, etc.).
The Law also changes the provision that with respect to purchases performed by applying the ordinary commercial practice applicable to the services specified in the B list of services (hotel and restaurant services, legal services, etc.) provided in Annex 2 of the Law on Public Procurement , provided that the purchase price exceeds LTL 821,223, the contracting authority should comply with the requirements applicable to the technical specification provided for in the Law on Public Procurement, and after concluding a purchase agreement or a preliminary agreement on services the purchase price of which exceeds LTL 821,223, it should send a notice to the Public procurement Office with an indication whether the contracting authority agrees that this notice is published. |
