On 7 June 2002 the Government by Resolution No

      851 approved the List of Sugar and Sugar-Containing

      Products, Made in or Imported into the Republic of

      Lithuania. The list includes the products which under the

      Law on Sugar Tax shall be taxed with sugar tax. Pursuant to

      this resolution, not only the sugar-containing products but

      also the products mentioned in the list that contain

      sweeteners or flavouring substances become objects of tax.
