An investment group of Ukio bank financed the recent purchase of the Vilnius Concert and Sports Palace, PR firm Alora said in its press release on Thursday.
According to the press release, Nota Aurorae will pay 6.2 million litas (.8 million euros) for 59 percent shares of the Concert and Sports Palace, which it bought from the trade unions. A sum of 0.5 million litas (145,000 euros) has been paid already, whereas the remaining sum will be transferred into the bank account of the Confederation of Trade Unions in next three months.
Director of Nota Aurorae, Algirdas Dogelis, mentioned his company will work together with the investment group of Ukui bank to renovate the Palace.
